Content Standards

Laravel lets players talk to each other in clan chat and choose their own display name. These are the rules for what you may post, what happens when somebody breaks them, and how to report it. They apply to every message, every username and every display name, and they form part of the Terms of Service.
1. What is not allowed
Do not post, send, or choose as a name anything that is:
- Harassing or bullying — targeting, threatening, intimidating, or repeatedly pestering another player.
- Hateful — attacking or demeaning people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Violent — threats of violence, incitement to violence, or glorification of it.
- Sexual — sexually explicit content of any kind. Any sexual content involving a minor is reported to the authorities and the account is banned permanently and immediately.
- Illegal — content that promotes crime, drugs, weapons dealing, fraud, or terrorism.
- Self-harm related — encouraging suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders.
- Personal information — anyone's real name, address, phone number, email, workplace, school, or photographs, whether yours or somebody else's. Do not ask other players for theirs.
- Spam or scams — flooding, advertising, referral links, phishing, account selling, or offers to trade in-game items for real money.
- Cheating — sharing or advertising cheats, bots, modified clients, or exploits.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another player, a moderator, or staff.
- Evasion — deliberate misspelling, spacing, or symbol substitution to slip any of the above past filters, which counts as the thing it is disguising.
Ordinary competitive banter is fine. The line is drawn where it becomes personal, hateful, or unwanted — and being asked to stop and continuing anyway is enough to cross it.
2. Reporting a message
Tap any message you did not write and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits best: spam, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, cheating, or other. The report sends us a copy of that message so it can be reviewed even after chat history has rolled over.
Reports are reviewed within 48 hours. You will not be told the outcome for another player's account — we do not share other people's account decisions — but the report is always read.
For anything urgent, or anything you believe is illegal, write to REPLACE-ME@example.com. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
3. Blocking a player
You can block a player from the same menu. Blocking hides everything they post from you, immediately and everywhere in the game. It does not require anyone's approval, it is not announced to them, and it does not depend on a report being upheld.
4. What we do about breaches
We take account of how serious the breach is, whether it was aimed at a person, and whether the account has done it before. The usual steps are:
- Message removal — the content comes down.
- Chat mute — typically 24 hours or 7 days. A muted player can still read their clan chat and play the game.
- Name reset — for a display name that breaches these rules.
- Suspension or permanent ban — for serious or repeated breaches. Currency and items are forfeited, as set out in the Terms of Service.
- Referral to law enforcement — where content appears to be criminal.
Filing false reports to get another player muted is itself a breach of these standards.
5. Appeals
If you believe a mute or ban on your account was wrong, write to REPLACE-ME@example.com from the email address on the account, within 30 days. Say what happened and why you think the decision was wrong. A person will look at it again and reply.
6. A word on what we can see
Clan chat is not private correspondence. Messages are stored on our servers so they can be delivered, and a reported message is kept for review. Do not post anything you would not want a moderator to read. How long messages are kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.
